Pilot Pimenta has been used in many F5J competitions around the world. The AUW of this model could go as low as 650g and modified to include a ballast system.
Pilot Pimenta is a 2m lightweight balsawood glider that features a 3 split-type wing, large centre spoiler, carbon wing spar and a conventional cross-tail. This glider is both rigid and lightweight thanks to carbon and laser-cut balsawood material used. It takes off to the sky with a flying weight of just 700g.
