The West Mountain Radio Dual CBA Amplifier 1000 Watt Harness Kit is used to couple two CBA Amplifiers to increase the capacity of the CBA to 1000 Watts. The operation of two amplifiers is done by connecting the inputs in parallel. With the amplifiers connected, there is a total amplification factor of 10 times as there would be with a single amplifier.
The West Mountain Radio Dual CBA Amplifier 1000 Watt Harness Kitis used to couple two CBA Amplifiers to increase the capacity of the CBA to 1000 Watts. The operation of two amplifiers is done by connecting the inputs in parallel. With the amplifiers connected, there is a total amplification factor of 10 times as there would be with a single amplifier. The CBA is doing 1/10 of the discharge and the amplifiers are doing the other 9/10. The amplifiers each sense 1/2 of the current drawn by the CBA and they amplify that discharge current by a factor of 10X each.
The Harness Kit consists of:
- (2 red & 2 black) 6" #2 wires to connect a test battery to both Amplifiers
- "Y" connector with Powerpoles to connect the CBA to both CBA Amplifiers
