The South Herts Models Cent-r-Lok glow-plug Connector comes as a set of parts ready for assembly complete with 500mm of black Aero-HT cable and a red Aero-HT cable for the crank-case connection. The assembled Cent-r-Lok fits securely, without the use of tools, to OS and YS plugs. They are suitable for connecting to a twin cylinder engine.
About the included Aero-HT Heat Resisting Cable (Black And Red)
Typically the resistance of a glow plug is about 0.3Ω and it is all too easy to build up a similar resistance in the wiring. Even if the wiring resistance adds up to a modest 0.15Ω the plug will only see 2/3 of battery voltage. Aero-HT silicone rubber insulated ultra-flexible cable has a minimal resistance of a mere 0.02Ω per metre. Supplied in 500mm lengths each of black and red they are suitable for extending wiring cable lengths.
