Its size already makes the new Kontronik PYRO 800impressive: an outside diameter of 63 mm and a shaft diameter of 8 mm suggest the enormous power of the latest KONTRONIK motor. Its new designs includes bigger ball bearings and a screw-fixed motor can.
The Kontronik PYRO 800-40L is designed for 800 class helicopters, scale and 3D helicopters.
Features:
- high-quality Neodym material has been used for the magnets – heat resistible up to 150 °C
- The winding has been made of an extremely heat resistant copper wire normally used by the aerospace industry. This wire can be stressed up to 300 °C
- The rotating can additionally gets a precise balancing making the thin section bearing unnecessary
- Adapted design for the stator
- Perfected air stream through the motor and a radial internal cooling
- Optimized magnetic circuit
